Mentoring Program
Program Overview
The Educational Interpreter Mentorship Program is a five-month learning experience (January–May 2026) designed to build interpreting competence through deliberate practice, reflective feedback, and mentor support. Participants will engage in self-paced online modules, interpreting practice samples, GoREACT video feedback, and bi-weekly mentoring sessions.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all the following:
Currently employed as an educational interpreter in a Georgia K–12 setting;
Working without a license, on a waiver, or under a non-renewable license;
Hold a bachelor’s degree;
Demonstrate a commitment to improving interpreting proficiency;
Have reliable internet access and a device capable of high-quality video recording and playback (laptop, tablet, or webcam; phones are not permitted for recording);
Be able to dedicate approximately 3 hours per week to mentoring activities.
