Language & Literacy Instruction for DHH Learners
3-Day Conference/workshops:
Training for DHH Professionals who provide reading instruction to DHH Learners, including learners who use ASL, spoken language, and multi-modal language users.
Includes Science of Reading for DHH Learners.

Language & Literacy Assessments for DHH Learners
1-Session Workshop:
Overview of Language and Literacy Assessments for DHH Learners including the assessments needed to build a Student Learner Profile for literacy instruction.

Audiology
Multi-sessions workshops:
Training for Audiology modules including school-aged hearing screening, Audiology 101, and Parent Training on Audiology

Deaf/Blind Learners
1- Session Workshop:
Working with children who are Deaf/Blind

Early Language Foundations for Literacy
Multi-session workshops:
Learn about the early language foundation for literacy (from birth through aged 5) and updates on accessible services in Georgia. Workshops include information on spoken language services, ASL/Deaf Culture services, and multi-lingual, multi-modal language users, and the contributions to the development of literacy for DHH Learners.

This conference is for ALL DHH Learners

There is not a conference fee. However, in order to attend, you must commit to attending the workshops and submit a $75 refundable check that will be returned to you on the last day of the conference.

You will recieve a certificate of completion.
You will not be paid or compensated for the conference.

All of our workshops will be recorded for future attendees.

Yes! You will have individual room assignments and you may bring additional guests.
Additional guests will not be allowed to attend any of the meals.

The Conference Attire is casual. The hotel has a fitness room and a pool for free time activities. Please wear comfortable shoes.

****Please note: To be eligible for the conference, you MUST attend all three days of the conference. There is not a conference, hotel, or food and non-alcoholic beverage fee. Your registration reserves a 3-night hotel reservation at Lake Lanier Hotel.
Due to high demand, in order to confirm your spot, you must submit a $75 fully refundable check, that will be returned to you on the last day of the conference. The $75 check will confirm your hotel and conference spot.
